If you are a fan of Jimmy Buffett and Key West, you’ve heard of Louie’s Backyard, this is our take on that concept. Enjoy live music in a friendly, laid back, relaxed outdoor venue on the beautiful Amite River Road in Baton Rouge.   There is room for more than 100 people on a 3000 square foot deck with a one of a kind “Pontoon Boat” stage.

Hawk’s Nest is a house concert venue located in north central Florida at the home of Robert and Marlo Dubé, just a few miles off the I-75 corridor in Ocala, known as the “Horse Capital of the World.”  Having grown in up south Florida and a Parrot Head before the term was coined, Robert fell in love with the Trop-Rock genre; the music, lifestyle, artists, and fans.  To help support the artists, we decided to open our home and backyard to enable them to showcase their music and talents in our area of Florida.  All donations received go directly to the artists.  We are active in the local Parrot Head community, and members of the Ocala Parrot Heads. Lakeside Lanai is a Trop Rock House Concert Venue at the private home of Connie Turner just outside New Braunfels, Texas, overlooking the Guadalupe River. Connie has been a Parrothead and follower of Trop Rock Music for a number of years. She and her partner, Scott Meeks, have decided to share the music and musicians that they have come to love with friends and family by hosting an occasional house concert. All of the musicians are singer/songwriters performing a mix of their own music and popular cover songs. We are a small house concert venue in Central Arkansas. It is our mission to provide an island style vibe and great time for traveling independent singer-songwriters sharing their stories and music as they journey across our great land. We both retired in 2017 so we decided to get into hosting with a passion. Knowing many Trop Rockers (& Rockettes) we built a stage and acquired the necessary sound equipment. We hope to enlarge the footprint of TropRock music in the North Central Texas area. We are just west of the DFW metroplex, kinda in the country but still fairly civilized. We do have a beach in our backyard and our massive oaks provide shade even on the hottest days. We hope you will join us for a concert soon.

The Habitat is the private home of Ken and Heather Settlemyer who are passionate about the importance of nurturing both local plant and animal wildlife and independent musicians.

The concept of the House Concert is to provide a venue where musicians can come to be heard by those whose primary intention is to listen rather than to have music in the background. We will be inviting musicians to perform at The Habitat approximately once per month.

We are proud to maintain over 1/4 acre of wilderness within an urban environment, providing much needed habitat for a variety of native species. We plant only native species and manage or eliminate the non native species in that area. We are delighted to play host, not just to excellent musicians, but to a plethora of beautiful butterflies.

The Habitat is BYOE and a donation for the musicians. This is completely not for profit, all donations go in entirety to the artists, some of whom will have traveled from out of state! Food to share is always welcomed, but not required.

We respect our neighbors and all noise ordinances and time the concerts in consideration of both. We sincerely hope you join us when you are able.

Pablo and Diana Christ have been hosting house concerts since 2012 at The Sandbox on Anna Maria Island.  In 2013, The Sandbox was voted top house concert venue by the listeners of Beachfront Radio.  Three years in a row, they were nominated for top House Concert Venue for the TRMA awards.  They took their successful formula to their new home in Englewood, FL and Diablo Creek has been on the ballot for top house concert venue for the TRMA awards for both 2016 and 2017.  Pablo and I love sharing our love of live music with our friends.
